The DST-inclusive -TBI at Sharda University is a prestigious three-year initiative supported by the Department of Science & Technology (DST). This program aims to foster a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship within educational institutions, benefiting students, faculty, entrepreneurs, and the surrounding communities.

Our key focus areas are agriculture and rural technology, rural health and sanitation, and women empowerment. By providing comprehensive mentoring and substantial grants-in-aid funding, we empower innovators to transform their ideas into successful startups. Agriculture and Rural Technology

Startups working in the domain of Farm Mechanization, Precision Farming, soil and water quality, agri-waste management, pre and post-harvest processes are being explored. The multi-discipline expertise from Agricultural Science and Food Science, and other related domains will be supported at i-TBI.

Rural Health and Sanitation

We support innovations in healthcare tailored to rural areas. Our sanitation projects aim to provide clean water, safe facilities, and hygiene education, enhancing overall health and well-being in rural communities. I-TBI will support technology-driven multi-discipline initiatives working towards the health and well-being of the rural population making it accessible and affordable to the last mile..

Women Empowerment

Entrepreneurial Initiatives by women founders/co-founders will be supported to foster an inclusive ecosystem for women contributing to social and economic development. Technology-driven innovations and business ideas which aim to empower women in various aspects of life will be supported through i-TBI.

Scope of Duty

Head of i-TBI: Head, i-TBI will be completely responsible for leading the i-TBI operations

Overall planning the activities, resources and operations of i-TBI
Managing the TBI team and facilities
Develop the mentor network for the incubator
Forge partnerships with other organizations and investors
Complying with all regulatory requirements and stringent financial practices
Advise/Mentor incubates on key product and business activities
Plan and coordinate various revenue streams including Government Grants

Incubation Manage

Be the key point of contact for all incubatees and other organizations in startup ecosystem
Organize/coordinate various workshops/events/seminars in TBI
Prepare all required reports and maintain a comprehensive set of records of all activities in TBI
Manage selection and progress monitoring of incubates and mentor engagement

Incubation Associate / Asst. Manager

Conduct outreach activities for scouting deserving innovators and entrepreneurs
Coordinate incubation process, portfolio management and mentor interactions
Conduct events (online and physical in coordination with the team
Manage co-work space, lab facility usage and other common facilities

IT and Digital Design Associate

Daily management of social media and website content
Design of digital collaterals, content for distribution, campaigns and events
Manage IT and Video Conferencing resources

Admin and Finance Executive

Carryout office work such as filing, data entry and update, reprographic work, requisition and stock update of stationery and pantry supplies etc.
Schedule and keep record of meetings of the Head and Manager
Prepare payroll, office and other facility usage charges, funds utilization record, purchase related documents and book of accounts including PFMS records

T & C	The i-TBI has the right to cancel post anytime. Actual offer of post depends on the sanction and release of funds from DST. The minimum desired experience and qualification can be relaxed for deserving candidates with strong relevant experience. The appointment shall purely be on contract basis for the duration of the project and no claim shall be entertained to place them permanently for the same or other position. All the rules and regulations of Sharda University as host institute and Sharda Launchpad Federation as incubator shall be applicable. The University and incubator reserve all the rights to terminate the services of any employee engaged with this project.
